Watertight synthetic material is insensitive to humidity and mould damages. The integrated drain level lifts the carpet over a damp cement ground. Thermic separation keeps the carpet hotter than the cement for added convenience. Thanks to the snap-together construction, it is simple to exchange broken carpets. Traditional cellar carpet installations use a carpet over a cellular material cushion that is placed directly on the cement surface or over a cushion that is placed over a wooden underlay. Both cases are caused by the usual humidity of the cellar, which causes final difficulties with this type of soil preparation. Humidity penetrating through the cement floors is taken up by the wooden underside and the carpet (humidity can also come from a sanitary leck or groundwater outlet into the basement).
