Advantages and disadvantages of a carpet in the kitchen
Wasn' sure if I wanted a carpet in the kitchen or not. When I was a child I liked to play on the kitchen floors in my mother's home and the carpet made it so cosy and beautiful. Carpets are flexible and offer good safety, whether at low temperature or in the event of an accident.
Dropping a piece of jar onto a tile will most likely cause it to shatter. This carpet will save you the effort of exchanging the carpet. A carpet in the kitchen is also something to consider when you have backaches. When you don't want to hide the whole kitchen surface, get a small carpet and place it in front of the kitchen sink or bar where you stand most of the while.
Wall-to-wall carpeting on the kitchen surface also makes the room more welcoming and warmer to the touch. Since the kitchen is now a place of community, it is a welcome plus. Disadvantages: Rugs are much more hard to keep cleaned than tile or cement and become oily, abraded and ripped due to strong vehicular use.
It can give your kitchen a less neat and fresher look. Finally, I would like to inform you that I have found a trade-off and bought a small carpet for the area near the kitchen counter, but I really want to hear your views on this issue.
