The DIY and author behind Sarah Hearts, Sarah Khandjian, is holding a Meet Make session at West Elm in Orlando, Florida this evening (October 23) to teach participants how to make an appearance with these mats. Here is how to give a simple doormat an inviting make-up: Stencils ( I use a few different Vecco designs) or a paint ribbon if you work on the pattern freehand.
Shape your artwork hands-free; use the painter's duct paper to make even outlines. Place the template on the mats and hold the area to be painted. Immerse the paintbrush in a larger amount of color and dab it down.
